The Heilman Family

The Heilman Family, Rick, Beth, Candy and Trisha moved to Lima Peru on July 20th 2004 as missionaries serving at Calvary Chapel’s Bible College in Lima Peru.  He transitioned from teaching at the Bible college to the Pastor of the only English speaking Calvary Chapel in Peru.  The Heilman’s come from Melbourne Florida where Rick was an Associate Pastor overseeing the Student Ministries.

Beth has transitioned to ministry at the English service.  She leadswomen’s ministry and a weekly English Conversation club at the church.  Of course, she is busy taking care of everything on the home front, as well as, helping host Friday night Bible studies, discipling women in the church, and cooking for our various meetings and events.  She is also still home schooling Trisha.  She has turned  our house into a home and constantly striving for that thing called “organized”.

After graduating from Bible College, Candy moved back to Melbourne, Florida.  She is now married.

Trisha has fit right into life in Peru.  She loves High School musical and watches all the High School Musical DVD’s every Saturday.  Trisha loves to sing and dance.  She likes “to play” the harmonica.   She has become more social since Candy moved to the states.  She has more friends at church and she really enjoys our worship nights.

The Vivar’s

Dante is one of the Elders at CCESL and currently leads worship at the church and the home fellowship at their house in San Juan de Lurigancho.  Rachel is the administrative assistant at CCESL, which includes organizing the different events of the church and the teams that come.  They lead two weekly conversation clubs in San Juan, hold weekly men’s and women’s meetings, and disciple young people from the church.

    Good day,

Today as I had the pleasure of meeting Melinda at the market, I was told there are Sunday meetings. I’m really interested in going and meeting other people with whom I can practice and improve my language. I was wondering if you could tell me the time in which the conversation meetings are held.
    Cheers,

    Diana

The conversation clubs at the church are Wednesdays from 10:30 AM to 12, and Fridays from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm and they are completely free. You can find information about other services and events here on our website. We’d love to meet you and help you improve your English.
